Independent travel assistance
Independent Travel Assistance for Etihad Airways Passengers
Etihad connects the US to Abu Dhabi and onward to Asia, Africa and the Middle East. We help US travelers handle Etihad bookings and itinerary changes.
MyFlightsAssist is independent from Etihad Airways. MyFlightsAssist is an independent travel agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any airline.
What we can help with
Long-haul itinerary changes
Etihad's US-Abu Dhabi routes are long-haul flights where a change needs careful handling, particularly given the connection implications.
Connections through Abu Dhabi
Most Etihad itineraries from the US connect through Abu Dhabi International Airport. A change on one leg affects the other.
Business and premium cabin bookings
Etihad has a premium cabin offering including Business Studio on its long-haul fleet. We help plan premium itineraries where available.
Schedule changes and rebooking
Etihad periodically adjusts its network; we review the impact on your itinerary and handle rebooking.
Traveling with Etihad Airways
Etihad Airways is the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, operating from Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) as its hub. It is not a member of the three major global alliances but maintains its own bilateral partnerships. In 2026, Etihad serves US gateways including New York JFK, Chicago, Washington Dulles, Boston, Atlanta, and Charlotte (from May 2026), with connections through Abu Dhabi to destinations across South Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, Australia and Europe.
Etihad reactivated its A380 fleet in 2026, deploying it on the Tokyo Narita route from June 2026. The airline's premium product is marketed as Business Studio (business class) and The Residence on selected A380 services.
Etihad's US routes
Etihad operates nonstop service from Abu Dhabi to New York JFK, Chicago O'Hare, Washington Dulles, Boston and Atlanta as established routes. Charlotte was added as a new US gateway from May 2026. All US services connect through Abu Dhabi to the airline's network across India, Southeast Asia, Australia and Africa.
Route information reflects the published network for Etihad Airways as of September 2026 and can change; check the airline directly for current schedules.
How MyFlightsAssist can help
Etihad's route network is smaller than the three major Middle Eastern carriers, which means fewer alternative options when a specific flight needs changing. We check what's actually available before recommending a course of action.
Any fare, fee or penalty set by Etihad Airways is separate from our own professional service fee. See our Service Fees page for details.
