Independent Booking & Itinerary Assistance for British Airways Travelers
Transatlantic connections, cabin changes or a Heathrow transfer that needs sorting — we handle the back-and-forth on British Airways bookings.
MyFlightsAssist is independent from British Airways. MyFlightsAssist is an independent travel agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any airline.
What we can help with
Itinerary and schedule changes
British Airways periodically adjusts its long-haul schedule. We review what shifted and whether it still works for your trip, and we handle any change on your behalf.
Transatlantic and connecting itineraries
If your itinerary involves a Heathrow connection onto a partner airline, a change on one leg affects the other. We look at both before recommending anything.
Cabin and seat changes
Moving between World Traveller, World Traveller Plus, Club World or First — where fare conditions allow it — or a seat assignment that isn't working.
Name corrections and group bookings
A name mismatch on a transatlantic ticket is worth fixing well in advance. We also assist with coordinating several travelers on the same British Airways itinerary.
Traveling with British Airways
British Airways operates primarily out of London Heathrow — its main long-haul hub and the base for its oneworld alliance partners. The airline also runs a short-haul network from Gatwick and a business commuter operation from London City. Terminal 5 at Heathrow is British Airways' home terminal, and connections between T5 and other terminals for partner flights are worth factoring into your schedule.
The airline's long-haul product uses the names World Traveller (economy), World Traveller Plus (premium economy), Club World (business) and First. Not all routes or aircraft types offer all four cabins, so the actual configuration on your flight is worth confirming.
Routes from the US
British Airways serves a substantial number of US cities nonstop from London Heathrow, including New York JFK, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, Washington Dulles, Houston and Dallas, among others. Some routes also operate from Gatwick.
From Heathrow, travelers connect onward across British Airways' own network to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Australia, as well as through oneworld partners — particularly relevant if your trip involves American Airlines, Iberia or Japan Airlines on a separate leg.
Route information reflects the published network for British Airways as of September 2026 and can change; check the airline directly for current schedules.
How MyFlightsAssist can help
We check your specific British Airways fare and its conditions before recommending any change. If your trip involves a Heathrow connection onto a partner airline, we also look at how a change on one leg affects the rest of the itinerary before anything gets booked.
Any fare, fee or penalty set by British Airways is separate from our own professional service fee. See our Service Fees page for details.
